開年登高上春山 貴州接力植樹11年 Climbing into the New Year: Guizhou's 11-Year Tradition of Tree Planting

2月5日，蛇年春節(jié)假期后上班第一天，貴州省開展2025年義務(wù)植樹活動(dòng)，全省設(shè)1451個(gè)義務(wù)植樹點(diǎn)。
On February 5th, the first day back to work after the Year of Snake Spring Festival holiday, Guizhou Province launched its 2025 voluntary tree planting activity, with a total of 1,451 volunteer tree planting sites set up across the province.

貴州是首批國家生態(tài)文明試驗(yàn)區(qū)、生態(tài)文明建設(shè)先行區(qū)之一，也是長江、珠江上游重要生態(tài)安全屏障。從2015年開始，貴州干部群眾開年登高上春山植樹，已堅(jiān)持整整11年，“綠色約定”成為貴州的一項(xiàng)慣例，成為貴州干部群眾開展生態(tài)建設(shè)的自覺行動(dòng)。
Guizhou is one of the first national pilot zones for ecological conservation and a pioneer in ecological civilization construction. It also serves as a crucial ecological safety barrier for the upper reaches of the Yangtze and Pearl Rivers. Since 2015, officials and the public in Guizhou have made it a tradition to start the year by climbing mountains and planting trees, an activity that has continued for 11 years. This “green commitment” has become a regular practice here in Guizhou, reflecting the province's conscious effort toward ecological development.

2015年至2025年11年間，全省森林覆蓋率從49%上升到60%以上，進(jìn)一步厚植了高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的綠色底色。
From 2015 to 2025, in these 11 years, the province’s forest coverage rate has increased from 49% to over 60%, further strengthening the green foundation for high-quality development.
共建美麗貴州，共享生態(tài)福祉。優(yōu)良生態(tài)環(huán)境是貴州最大的發(fā)展優(yōu)勢(shì)和競(jìng)爭(zhēng)優(yōu)勢(shì)。一次次的“綠色約定”就是“綠色行動(dòng)”，每個(gè)人都積極參與愛綠、植綠、護(hù)綠行動(dòng)中來，今后貴州會(huì)樹更多、山更青、地也更綠，人們的生活會(huì)越來越美好。
Building a beautiful Guizhou and sharing ecological well-being. A good ecological environment is Guizhou’s greatest development advantage and competitive edge. Each of these “green commitments” translates into real “green actions,” with everybody coming together to care for, plant, and protect greenery. Moving forward, Guizhou will have more trees, greener mountains, and richer lands, leading to better lives for all.
